Please help this is for a project: The stimulus check is a one time $1,200 pay out and the unemployment check is $600 per week

for a maximum of 16 weeks. Make an equation that can be used to find y, the amount of money in your
account after x number of weeks of getting unemployment checks.
Can b an x be greater than 16? What is a mathematical way to show that?

y=600x+1200

x cannot be greater than 16 because the maximum amount of weeks is 16.
mathematical way: x is less than or equal to 16 (also there’s a picture to show what I mean)
