So we all know this rich democrat, he's not new. But most people don't know the real play factors, people think he won because he was frank about the religious issue, being Catholic. But really, it was that Kennedy came to the aid of Martin Luther King after he was arrested. Yes, African Americans had no right to vote back then, but during this time period alot of people were more aware of equal rights.
