Equations in two lines are 6X minus Y equals four and Y equals 4X plus 2Y is the value of X and the solution for the system of equations

Not sure if I got the equations right but this is how I solved it:
Rearrange 6x-y=4 for y. Then since both equations equal y, you can set them equal to each other. From there solve for the y variable. To solve for x, plug in the new found y variable back into one of the original equations. Hope that helps
