As triangle is right angled, we can possibly use the Pythagoras theroam.

By pythgoras theoram;

= H² = B² + P²

= 10² = x² + x²

= 10² = x⁴

=⁴√ 10² = x

= 10²×¼ = x

= 10½ = x

= √10 = x

= 3.16 = x

So the value of x is 3.16 cm

By using Pythagoras Theorem:-

(Hypotenuse)² = (Base)²+ (Perpendicular)²

Taking, Hypotenuse As H

Base As B

Perpendicular As P

Solving The Question

H= 10cm

B= x cm

P= x cm

__________

H²= B²+P²

10²= x²+x²

=> 100= 2x²

=> √100= 2x

=> 10=2x

=> x=10/2

=> x= 5

Hope This Helps You ❤️
