Answer:

the first method is method of grouping so u say (2x - 4x) -(2xy+4y) so u already know that the 2x is square so no mean to put it there so u say 2x(x- 2)-2y (x+2) so u see the bracket are the same so u take one (x- 2) (2x -2y) done
