PLZ help I need the answer today!!!

My laptop charger is dead and my phone charger is dead and my laptop is in my car charger I don’t really want my phone number I don’t know how to answer my phone

I think it's because the electricity from the battery goes through one light bulb and into the other and back to the battery since there is only one circuit and when one of the light bulbs burn out it stops the circulation of electricity causing the other one not to work too?
