When u inhale, the diagram (a muscle) is pulled down so that the lungs can inflate with oxygen.
The opposite happens when the body exhales.
The diaphragm aids in respiration.

Answer:

Diaphgram is a large dome shaped sheath of muscle which separates the thoraicic cavity from the abdominal cavity.

Step-by-step explanation:

The contraction of diaphgram brings about its downward movement which decreases the intra thoraicic pressure and increases the intra abdominal pressure.
