How does hydrogen bond DNA strands together?

Answer:hydraulics. In each linear strand there are covalent bonds and strong bonding between bases, sugars and phosphate groups (both within each component and between components). Hydrogen bonds occur in a complimentary combination between the 2 strands and include a base with one strand, and the base with the other.
