3 d +5 c =$365........[1]

5d+3c=$491.............[2]

By doing elimination method

multiplying equation 1 by 5 and equation 2 by 3 and subtracting

we get

15d+25c=$365*5

15d+9c=$491*3

(352)/(16)=$22
