By using slope-point form, the equation of line is given as,

(y−Y)=m(x−X)

(y−(−1))=5/4(x−4)

(y+1)=5x/4−5

(y+1)=(5x−20)/4

4(y+1)=5x−20

4y+4=5x−20

5x−4y−20−4=0

5x−4y−24=0

is the equation of line passing through the point (4,−1)and having slope 5/4
