Lattitude affects the climate. This is because it is warmer the closer it gets equator. The higher up you are (elevation) the thinner the air is and temperatures drop. When you are close to mountains, they can block wind. A good example of this is India. India's northern border has the Himalayas. This affects the temperatures. Oceans have currents. The currents can bring warm water and cold water from other locations. This affects the temperature. I hope this helps!
