When male and female comes to contact by initial connection between sex organs, the sperm (male gamete) enters through the vagina and gets fuses with an ova (egg- female gamete) which results in the process of fertilization (fusion of male and female gamete). This fertilized egg gets implanted to the Uterus (elastic bag like structure) which helps to the complete development of the foetus (baby).
