Using Elimination method

Add both equations

15y + 9y = -24 + 24

24y = 0

y = 0/24

y = 0

Substitute y = 0 into 2

From 2;

2x + 9y = 24

2x + 9(0) = 24

2x = 24

x = 24/2

x = 12

Hence the solution to the system of equation is (12, 0)
