Natural Selection works through many different aspects, here we see that a creature has developed a mutation. If the creature would be aided with this new found mutation it would not simply disappear. The creature would end up reproducing with similar creatures spreading this new mutation, and this is what natural selection is. Natural selection is when creatures with negitive mutations are unable to reproduce causing their gentic line to die out, while creatures with superior genetics continuously reproduce.
