Since altitude of the triangle and slant height is given, we can find the base of the triangle using Pythagorean:


  • b/2 = √(11.3^2-8^2) = √(64) = 8m, \\b = 16 m

  • S = 16*20 + 2(20*12) + 2(20*11.3) + 2(16*12) + 2(1/2*8*16) = 1764 m²
