Answer:

Hammurabi (in Akkadian, from the Amorite Ammurāpi) (1810 BC-1750 BC) was the sixth king of Babylon during the First Dynasty of Babylon from 1792 to 1750 BC. C. He ascended to the throne after the abdication of his father, Sîn-Muballit and created the Babylonian Empire extending the control of Babylon over Mesopotamia after winning several wars against neighboring kingdoms. Although his empire controlled all of Mesopotamia at the time of his death, his successors were unable to maintain it.
