Competitive athletics are the cause of many injuries. Athletes push their bodies to the limit for their sport. Sometimes injuries do not become apparent until years later. Do you believe college and professional sports leagues should take more responsibility for the long-term effects of injuries in athletes? Why or why not?

No because injuries are usually the athlete’s fault. Unless the training that the college or professional league is providing is what’s causing the injuries, then they should not be responsible for the athlete’s injuries. It is the athlete’s responsibility to take care of themselves.
