Mean is the average as in adding up all of the numbers and dividing by the amount of numbers there.
Median is when you put all the numbers in order from least to greatest and then you find the number directly in the middle. If there are two numbers in the middle, you find the sum of the two numbers and divide by 2. In other words you find the mean of it, but that’s only if there are two numbers in the middle.
