driven. Juan wants to rent a car, knowing that:

• He plans to drive 425 miles.

• He has at most $230 to spend.

Write and solve an inequality which can be used to determine d, the number of days

77.5d + .14m

m = 425

.14 * 425 = 59.5

77.5d + 59.5 ≤ 230

77.5d ≤ 170.5

d ≤ 170.5/77.5

d ≤ 2.2

if they only take payment for whole days, he has 2 whole days
