Symmetric, If you fold the graph along the median, the point will almost match.

Explanation:

The dot plot shows an approximately normal distribution with the peak being approximately in the centre and the tail shared to either sides of the peak. The median seem to reside at the centre of the distribution as well.

The median = 1/2(n+1)th term

n = 12

1/2(13)th term

Median = 6.5 term

Median = (6+6) /2 = 12/2 = 6
