Answer:

(b) Plants ---> animals ---> air.

Since the cycle begins with the process of Photosynthesis as carbon dioxide is absorbed then becoming Carbon compounds. These are taken by primary consumers passed to secondary consumers then to tertiary consumers.

Then three processes takes place (respiration, Decomposition and Combustion) finally carbon dioxide is given out again.
