3) 20/6 = 10/3

Explanation:

Since the formula for the area of a rectangle is a=lw (area= length times width), you just need to multiply the numbers.

If you are multiplying two fractions, you multiply the numerators(the numbers on top) and the denominators(the numbers on the bottom).

Ex.
(1)/(2)* (4)/(7) = (1*4)/(2*7) = (4)/(14)

If it is a fraction and a whole number, do the same thing, except you should write the whole number as the number over 1.

Ex.
5*(1)/(2)= (5)/(1)*(1)/(2)
