The answer or basic answer is… Shah Sultan Hossein, who ruled from 1694 to 1792, was the main cause of the end of the Safavid Empire. He appointed a member of Shia'a religious establishment, Mohammad Majlesi, to office. Majlesi and the Shia'a clergy slowly but surely took control of the empire and overthrew the regime.
And the things involved in this certain topic.
Combatants: Iran; Ottoman Empire
Members: Sultan Husayn
Hope this helps!
