What is x in 2x-4(-2x+6)=16? I'm supposed to use the system of equations if that helps.

Explanation:

2x - 4(-2x + 6) = 16

2x + 8x - 24 = 16

10x - 24 = 16

+ 24 + 24

10x = 40

/10 /10

x = 4
