The effects of earthquakes are ground shaking, ground rupture, landslides, tsunamis, and liquefaction. Fires are probably the most important secondary effect of earthquakes.Earthquakes can do alot of damage to buildings, bridges, pipelines, railways, embankments, dams, and other structures. It can also change the the flow of groundwater and mudflows.
