Hey! I have an English assignment to do, and I don't understand one of the questions! Could someone please help out? Thanks!

Question: San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle: Where are these cities, and why did many of the Japanese American demonstrations take place in these cities?

San Francisco is in California, Los Angeles is in California, and Seattle is in Washington. As for why the Japanese American demonstrations took place in those cities, I’m guessing it’s because they’re densely populated cities? Meaning there are tons of inhabitants. I’m not 100% sure though, so I apologize in advance if I’m wrong. BUT I’m 100% sure of where the cities are.
