If you hit someone without the intent of killing them but they do die, should you be charged with murder? Should a person be accountable for their actions

because it is a 3rd degree murder

You do get charged with murder even if you didn’t mean too. I believe you would get charged with 2nd or 3rd degree murder which I believe that 3rd is accidental murder. Which it would be an accident if you didn’t intend to kill them. Helpfully that helped
