here's the solution : -

we know, kinetic energy (k.e) =


(1)/(2) mv { }^(2)

where,

  • m = mass
  • v = velocity

So,

=》


100 = (1)/(2) * 0.5 * {v}^(2)

=》


(100 * 2)/(0.5) = {v}^(2)

=》


(2000)/(5) = {v}^(2)

=》


400 = {v}^(2)

=》


v = √(400)

=》


v = 20\: \: ms {}^( - 1)
