Following social rules for the sake of social development is some what a restricting statement. There are some social rules that do not make sense go against moral compass or temperament of a lot of people.

On the contrary, thee are certain social rules and norms which are appreciated in the society and are praised.

One should adapt the kind of social rues that is in harmony which their mind and the situation they are in.

Social development occurs when people become tolerant, not because of some rules.
