y=-1/2x+b. This is the first part. You basically plug in the slope for m. To solve for b, you have to plug in the x and y coordinates into the equation

6=(-14)(-1/2)+b

6=7+b

-1=b

So now you have your slope and your y-intercept, plug it back into the y=mx+b format

y=-1/2x-1 would be the final answer
