The Karachi Agreement tried to make a treaty, that was then signed in 1949 by the military representatives of India and Pakistan, which was supervised by the United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan, which ended up establishing a cease-fire line in Kashmir following the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.
