In the state of California the cost to house each inmate has drastically increased over the past ten years. The current price is at

75,560 per year, more than the cost of tuition at Harvard University, As inmates continue to fill our jails, most due to drug
related charges (80%), how do we change our system and what does this look like?

to change the system you have to vote new people in to be incharge obviously the people in charge in California are inadequate to do there job as politicans to keep the pricing lower hope this helps
