now there are 9 chips left (the first chip was not replaced)

the probability of choosing a non-green chip is (9-2)/9 = 7/9 = 0.7777

so now I THINK you multiply the two probabilities to get the total probability

probability = 0.1 ·0.7777

probability = 0.07777 which makes sense it has to be less than 0.1
