Scientists have organized all forms of energy into two types—kinetic and potential. Kinetic energy is the energy of motion, and potential energy is stored energy.

Raise the pendulum again. Carefully watch the Energy Graph on the left. It shows the amount of energy the pendulum has as it moves.

At the top of its swing, does the pendulum have kinetic energy or potential energy?

I'm guessing it means when it stops to come back down, I would call that potential until it starts to move back down
