Was Nat Turner a good or bad guy? Did he help slaves or not?

Nat Turner was a good guy. He set the slaves free. He started with several trusted fellow enslaved individuals and ultimately gathered more than 70 enslaved and free blacks, some of whom were on horseback.

Nat Turner, (born October 2, 1800, Southampton county, Virginia, U.S.—died November 11, 1831, Jerusalem, Virginia), Black American slave who led the only effective, sustained slave rebellion (August 1831) in U.S. history.

Nat Turner was a good guy.
He led the rebellion in the slaves favor to fight for there rights. He helped out the slaves making him the good guy. Hope this helps.
