The moon is smaller in size. It casts narrow shadow which cannot cover all parts of the earth at the same time. The solar eclipse can be observed from the place of the earth which is covered by umbra region. ... Due to this region, lunar eclipse cannot be seen from all parts of the earth at the same time.
