To easily figure out something like this, you need to make the equations have the same denominator (or bottom number) so in this one, you’re going to have it pretty easy because 1/2 translates to 2/4. Once that’s done you can look at it a little easier. However the answer for this one is going to be -3 1/4 I believe.
