It’s the process by which cells obtain energy from glucose sugar by breaking down simple food molecules into usable chemical energy Seeley respiration is different than the trim respiration which is used for breathing. The respiration equation is C6H12O6 + 6O2 -> 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy. Notice the equation is opposite of photosynthesis. Aerobic uses oxygen anaerobic doesn’t use oxygen it doesn’t use enough oxygen so it doesn’t create ATP

Answer:

The mechanism by which organisms use oxygen to break down food molecules in order to obtain chemical energy for cell functions is known as cellular respiration. In the absence of oxygen, cells can generate energy by fermenting food, a mechanism known as anaerobic respiration.
