hello friend,

to calculate the total surface Area, you just have to add up all the Area of rectangles.

In the figure you have sent. We can clearly see three different types of rectangle. one with 6cm×5cm dimension. one with 3cm×5cm dimension and finally with 6cm×3cm dimension. There are two identical set of each type so we multiply each by 2

so,

SA=2(6cm×5cm)+2(3cm×5cm)+2(6cm×3cm)

Sa=2(30cm²)+2(15cm²)+2(18cm²)

SA=60cm²+30cm²+36cm²

Sa=90cm²+36cm²

SA=126cm²
