Answer: hitler saw the British as the only other true ‘germannic’ people that approached Aryan standards, and was desperate for Britain to remain indifferent/neutral as he carved up Europe. The british elite’s great distaste of communism de facto saw them closer to fascism and sympathetic in many cases.
