Explain how you can tell whether the sum of two numbers is positive or negative before you add. Give examples to illustrate your point.

2 negatives always make a negative -4 and -3 = -7
If a postive number is bigger than the negative number it will be positive 50 - 49= 1
Bigger Negative number - smaller positive number will be negative
