How do you think military service changed the lives of black Americans?
Why do you think white supremacists found black veterans so threatening?

Step-by-step explanation:

Many African Americans hoped that with their service, it would bring upon a new age of equality, as they fulfilled their necessary sacrifice for the country, the thought that maybe they would get the treatment they had been hoping for for centuries. But not much changed when they got home. In fact, it was in some ways worse than before. Many white supremacists were outwardly violent towards, and harshly outspoken against black veterans. Likely, white supremacists found black veterans threatening, as if they were a veteran, they had received training to defend themselves, and/or others.
