From book CALL ME FRANCIS TUCKET- There were two incidents that stood out as mean- spirited. The first was when the wagon train expelled Lottie, Billy and their father, forcing them to function on their own. The second was when Courtweiler abandoned Francis, taking the things that Francis depended upon for life,

• Were the potential results of these two acts similar? • Were the incidents equally cruel?

What lesson can you take away from these two incidents?
