Answer: 591 hours

Explanation:

First find out what 2/3 of the water is:

= 2/3 * 24,000

= 16,000 gallons

650 gallons are used per day so the time it takes in days to use the above is:

= 16,000 / 650

= 24.62 days

There are 24 hours in a day. The amount of time it will take to use this amount of water in hours is:

= 24.62 * 24

= 590.88

= 591 hours
