Read the following excerpt from "Homecoming."

Atsidi lifted his eyes to Nantai’s face. The long, black braid was gone, and Nantai wore the White man’s pants and shirt, but everything else was the same. His eyes shone bright and clear, and his smile was as wide as the sky. Atsidi recognized him as if he’d seen him only yesterday. And Nantai’s eyes told Atsidi that he was recognized too.

Based on this excerpt, what can be inferred about Nantai?

He has completely assimilated to the White man’s ways.
He is angry about having been taken away from his family.
He has not forgotten or rejected his family or his Navajo culture.
He no longer wants to live with his Navajo family
