Base 1 + Base 2 x H x 1/2

Base 1 (6) + Base 2 (16) x Height (9) x 1/2

Longer Base Length = 16ft

The area of a trapezoid can be found using this formula


A=(a+b)/(2)h

where a and b = bases and h = height

Given all the information needed we plug in the values into the formula


A=(6+16)/(2) 9\\6+16=22\\(22)/(2) =11\\11*9=99\\A=99ft^2

So we can conclude that the area of the trapezoid is 99 ft²
