Derrick is kayaking upstream. Each minute he paddles 30m but then has to spend another minute resting, in which time he gets pushed back 6m. How long would Derrick take to paddle to 120m?

1min=30m
4min =120m
But rest 1min so 4min+1min=5min
Pushed back 6m
1min=30m
30/6= 5s or 0.05min
Total 5min and 5s or 5.05min
