of 4 centimeters. What is the height of the can? Use 3.14 for π and round to the nearest tenth. PLS HELP :D

Answer:

result = 15cm

Explanation:

Hi! to can solve this, we have to keep in mind this formulas:

1) Area of a circuference:

A1 = π
r^(2) ; where r = radius

2) Area of a cylinder:

A2 = (π
r^(2)) * (h) ; where h= height

now we solve:

first, we have to calculate the area of the circumference

A1 =
(3.14)*(4cm)^(2) =
50.24cm^(2)

then, we already know the volume of the cylinder, and the area of the circumference, so we have to find just h of the second formula:

A2 = (π
r^(2)) * (h)

753.6cm^(3) =
50.24cm^(2) * (h)

( 753.6cm^(3) )/(50.24cm^(2) ) = h

h = 15cm
