Weaknesses of the article of confederation explanation

a major weakness was the inability to regulate foreign trade,commerce. in other words our trade with other countries was not allowed to be regulated. also there was no power to tax.

Under the Articles of Federation, there was only one branch of government, Congress couldn’t tax so they couldn’t make money, etc.
