The triple can be proved:

3²+4²=5²

9+16=25

that means the lengths of the triangle is a multiple of the triple 3, 4, and 5

so that means that c is 5*something

since 12 and 16 are 3*4 and 4*4 respectively, that means that c must be 5*4=20km
